End Corporate Personhood in Seattle

I believe real human people should govern without heavy corporate influence. In that respect I have signed to put Measure 103 on the ballot. Learn more here: http://envisionseattle.org/

  • Carey happy on the hill

Why End? Many neighborhood issues such as real estate zoning, think the Roosevelt neighborhood, or local liquor sales as a recent vote shows, can be swayed by large corporate interests. This measure would ensure the voices of the people within the neighborhoods are NOT drowned out by corporate influence such as advertising and contributions. Local people will be the deciders, not often distant businesses.

From Solarize Green Lake?:

"Hi folks, my wife and I missed the recently advertised meeting in Phinney Ridge about organizing a Solar Northwest initiative and bringing easy Solar within reach. Did anyone from green lake attend that meeting ? We'd love to know what the next steps might be. Also, has anyone already gone through the process of installing solar at their green lake home? Seems like there are quite a few permitting hurdles to overcome? Thanks! Robbie"
