Armed Robbery on Beacon Hill; Suspects at Large
Around 6:30 pm Saturday, two men armed with handguns and wearing ski masks walked into a hair salon located in the 2300 block of 15th Avenue South near Beacon Avenue South on Beacon Hill, grabbed a female employee by the shirt, ordered her to the floor and demanded money.

'Notorious repeat burglar' caught at Aurora motel
Officers said the previous month, a man in the 700 block of North 95th Street woke to the sound of his car alarm going off. He saw an unknown woman walking down stairs from the upper floor bedrooms, muttering something about getting something from Howard, according to court documents.

Police say on Aug. 10, 2008, McDuff stole a man's wallet and keys while he was sleeping in the 5800 block of 4th Avenue Northwest. He woke up to find his 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante missing.

'Notorious repeat burglar' caught at Aurora motel
McDuff later said she had been sleeping in a U-Haul truck found at 420 Valley Street, according to court documents. Police said that was stolen in late August from the parking lot in the 3100 block of Northeast Fourth Street. The thief was able to retrieve the truck key from the drop slot.

'Notorious repeat burglar' caught at Aurora motel
Officers believe she used a Ford pickup stolen July 19, 2008 from the 2100 block of East Interlaken Blvd. McDuff allegedly said she drove the truck to Swedish Hospital in Ballard five days later -- and admitted she stole a nurse's purse there, according to court documents.

When the victim arrive home in the 1400 block of NE 42nd street, the suspects surrounded him before he could get inside. One suspect displayed a handgun. The suspects took the victim’s jacket and personal belongings while the victim was being held at gunpoint. The suspects then fled the area.
