Police extend investigation into bike-car collision
About 1:45 p.m. Jan. 6, a witness saw the bicyclist coasting downhill, approaching the intersection of 21st Avenue South and South College Street. A blue 1989 Chevrolet Caprice went around the witness northbound on 21st and continued into the intersection without slowing or stopping.

Police extend investigation into bike-car collision
Two days later, witnesses who work on Rainier Avenue South saw the Caprice parked in front of Bud's Muffler City at 1801 Rainier Ave. S, where the owner had brought it for repairs. Police impounded it and left an officer there to await the owner's return.
