Wind, rain and wires down
You saw the flashes all the way from 15th? We saw them...it looked like a transformer on a telephone pole exploded (for lack of a better word) on 34th near Ruffner. The lights in the houses on 33rd through 30th went dark immediately afterwards.

After the traffic stop, the officers drove about two blocks away to 29th & Yesler where they sat and debriefed on the actions taken during the previous stop. Then at 10:06pm a small, 2-door, light-colored vehicle pulled up and opened fire.

I have seen a light colored Datsun B210 parked on the North side of Cherry, east of MLK. (perhaps around 30th & Cherry.) I've noticed it a number of times on walks because an old friend had one years ago.
