    Meanwhile, a couple weeks ago the Stranger did a piece on another of Seattle’s favorite developers. Apparently, "Schnitzer West's Dan Ivanoff declined repeated requests for comment." But rumor has it that [rumor] the biggest among Schnitzer’s office towers, 1918 8th Ave, is up for sale [/rumor].

    the seattle pi reports that 2 cranes in seattle and one in the east bay were shut down due to "potential safety problems". one of the suspect cranes is a block away from the cosmo, at 1823 Terry Ave, home of the Aspira apartment building project.

    the seattle times today announced the final piece of development for our block. the proposed plan is to build another 14-story office building on the site of the Watermark Credit Union. located between 818 stewart and 1918 8th, this new building adds the finishing touches to schnitzer's development plan for our block. and at 14 stories it will be about the same height as 818, currently underway.
