    The female officer is the first killed in the line of duty since Joselito Barber was killed in a car collision Aug. 13, 2006. That accident happened at 23rd Avenue and East Yesler Way, a block from Saturday's incident.

  • 23rd and Dearborn Broadstripe Internet Service Issues

    According to a letter I got a few days ago Qwest is bringing fiber to my area on Nov. 10th. I live around 23rd and Dearborn. Hopefully that will mean much faster speeds! I kicked around trying Broadstripe as currently my DSL tops out at 300k, but glad I didn't.
