• 7600 block of Eighth Avenue SW. Update: Man pistol-whipped, robbed

  Police spokesman Jeff Kappel said a man called 911 at 7:09p.m. and said he'd just been robbed in the 7600 block of Eighth Avenue SW. The thief struck the man over the head with what police believe was the handle of a shotgun, Kappel said.
