Officer injured during chase, in stable condition
The incident began when the officer was taking a juvenile home after a traffic stop on the 13000 Linden Avenue N. But when the officer was about to hand the suspect over, his mother said that he had lied about who he was. At that point, the suspect jumped out a window and fled.

At about 2:30 this morning, police pulled over a suspicious vehicle in the 13000 block of Linden Avenue North. Officers detained a juvenile for a minor offense, although a police account does not indicate the offense. Officers decided to question the juvenile and release him to his mother.
