BLOOD DRIVE – Always a good cause, the Bloodworks mobile unit will be parked at Ballard First Lutheran Church (2006 NW 65th Street) from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and again from noon to 3 p.m.
Medics and firefighters responded to a roll-over crash on 15th Ave. NW at NW 65th St. just before 3 a.m. When they arrived, all the occupants were out of the vehicle.
Seattle Public Utilities crews have closed the intersection of 8th Ave. NW and NW 95th St. until the project is complete. Even though crews are working from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the roads remained closed around the clock “so crews can monitor and maintain the sewer bypass system,” SPU said.

NEW FOOD TRUCK – Bella M’Briana is the name of a new food truck in Ballard, positioned at 5401 17th Ave NW. On the menu: house-made meatballs, spaghetti pie, bucatini pesto and more. “It’s delizioso!” says Linda in the My Ballard Facebook Group.
Back in January, the My Ballard Facebook group noticed an online listing (.pdf) to sell the Jones Brothers restaurant — the restaurant itself, not the building — located at 5449 Ballard Ave. NW (in the old Balmar space.) We emailed the restaurant to see what was up, but heard no response.
