Police release video of deadly officer-involved shooting

Police received reports just before 4:30 a.m. Monday of a suspected car prowler near 35th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 60th Street.

Less than an hour later, police received a report of an armed home invasion and a car theft a few blocks away at 27th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 60th Street.

The suspect sped away, but was then stopped when he rammed a patrol car near Northeast 55th Street and 26th Avenue Northeast.

The unauthorized tree cutting near the 3200 block of 35th Avenue Southwest took place in two distinct areas, on a steep slope near the defendants' homes. The city alleged that the trees, including many big-leaf maples and Scouler's willows, were felled and left on the group.
