A few blocks away at 928 NW Leary Way, another food truck, Napkin Friends, will open a Jewish deli sometime later this year.

The new restaurant and bar at 4001 Leary Way NW features an outside deck, which was under construction when we stopped by.

The Ballard store is coming together at 907 NW Ballard Way — the sign is up — with the goal to open this spring. PCC plans to open a new store a few blocks away in spring of next year.

    New Seasons announced the departure of its CEO today in a "strategic shift" that will close one California store and halt the opening of three others in the state. Despite the changes, the company said it's moving ahead with its new locations in Ballard and the Central District.

Located deep in Ballard brewery country at 1118 N.W. 50th St., Trailbend is slated to open in March. With 42 taps and a wood-fired oven, the new restaurant and bar aims to capitalize on the growing brewery crowd in the area.

– SUBWAY BIKE ROBBERY: Police responded to the 4500 block of 9th Ave. NW on Tuesday night for a report of a robbery. According to the scanner, the Subway was robbed at gunpoint, and the suspect was seen escaping on… one of those green rental bikes. (Thanks Silver for the tip.)

– PHINNEY APARTMENTS: The city has approved a rezone for the Phinney property at 7009 Greenwood Ave. N., boosting the high limit up to 65 feet. An apartment complex is planned.

– REVEL MOVING: The Fremont Korean restaurant Revel is moving to South Lake Union — temporarily. The restaurant at 403 N 36th St. is the site of an upcoming 3-story development, and when it’s complete, Revel plans to move back to Fremont, Eater reports.

– JOLI REVIEWED: Joli opened at NW 65th St. and 7th Ave. NW in September, and the Seattle Times reviewer says it has an “ambitious menu” and the “bar is likely to become a real draw.”
