    Nickelsville's two-year stay in Ballard is officially up on Saturday, and the city has told organizers that residents can stay in the camp until the new site in Northlake is ready next month. But yesterday, Nickelsville was calling for volunteers to help them pack up and move today.

1 of 2 men shot early Thursday in U District has died

Police responded to reports of gunshots in an alley near Northeast 42nd Street and University Way Northeast about 1:30 a.m. Thursday and found the two victims in a nearby parking lot. Witnesses told police the shooting stemmed from a confrontation among a group of people in the parking lot.
