St. Alphonsus School (5816 15th Ave NW) Comment
Dear Prospective Parents: As long as the current Principal, Matt Eisenhauer is leading this school, I would encourage you to select an alternate school for your child to attend. There are so many great school choices in Seattle. School's where you can feel proud of the leadership. This is not that school. 1. Communication: Principal may or may not ever respond to your email or phone call. This is especially true if you are female. 2. Communication: Principal talks down to women and girls. I have heard him refer to a group of mothers as "skirts". 3. Communication: Principal gossips, a lot. I know things about school lawsuits that I shouldn't know because the Principal discusses confidential information in the common area. In front of kids and parents. 4. Trust: As a result of poor leadership, or family does not trust that our children will be well cared for. We don't feel that the Principal cares for any of us in the school. Please consider these items as you make a choice for your children, especially if you have girls.
