Just after 1 a.m., according to police, a man called 911 to say he had just shot a man who had pointed a gun at him. The caller was waiting when police arrived at the encampment at Poplar Place South and South Bush Place.

    SEATTLE - Police are investigating a shooting in south Seattle. It happened overnight at South Bush Place and Poplar Place South. The man was taken to Harborview where he's in stable condition. No word on what led up to the shooting... and no word on any suspects.
