Our Favorite Coffee Shops in Seattle
If there's one thing that Seattle does well, it's coffee. Starbucks started here, and as of 2017, there were 27,339 locations all over the world. While we're not here to promote Starbucks, its very ubiquity is proof that our city knows how to please the masses, at least as far as coffee is concerned.

  • Greenwood Elementary School reviewed by a parent

The parent community is involved (think friendly and committed rather than entitled and annoying). The teachers have an unusually informed approach to social-emotional growth -- for example, our long-time PE teacher (who is so amazing she trains other PE teachers in the district) has a whole "kindness" curriculum this year. My kid and his buddies are academically challenged. The PTA fund ensures that all kids get to participate in every activity -- no kid is ever turned away for lack of funds. Commitment to equity is strong from both families and staff. We love this school SO much.
