Planning For Seattle Women's March 2.0

Where will we march? The march begins at Cal Anderson Park and ends at Seattle Center, with long stretches of Pine Street and 4th Ave in between. Here’s a map, courtesy of the organizers:

Planning For Seattle Women's March 2.0
Here we go again. Last year, more than 100,000 people marched from Judkins Park to Seattle Center the day after our racist chaos-monger president took the oath of office. Millions more took to the streets in other parts of the country (and the world). One year of chaos later, it's time to fill the streets again.

The Morning News: Amazon HQ2 Finds 20 Potential Suitors, There's a Lake in My Alley

I started here at 4th and Pine, just to the side of Abercrombie & Fitch. This fixture is bolted onto a small, covered ledge that might otherwise provide relief from the rain pic.twitter.com/2yhdjQ0ed1

Next I stopped by the Medical Dental building on 6th and Olive. The bus stop outside has these covered stops, but the benches are short and designed so they hang out from under the cover pic.twitter.com/20Sfn5ZBjr

Here is a bus stop on 4th and Pike, just across from the AT&T store. The only bench made for sitting isn't covered and has those edges to keep the surface from being uniform. I lost the pictures but under the awning are at least half a dozen leaning benches pic.twitter.com/B37xwGhdy4

The Morning News: Amazon HQ2 Finds 20 Potential Suitors, There's a Lake in My Alley
Is disaster imminent? New images of Rattlesnake Ridge show an obvious crack widening over two to three months. It's been moving at a pace of 1.6 feet per week. Dramatic new images show the Rattlesnake Ridge slide moving over time. The slope near Yakima is currently sliding about 1.6 feet per week.

Our daughter attended Spruce Street School kindergarten through fifth grade. SSS creates a nurturing, supportive, and intentional learning experience. Our daughter's transition to Middle School was stellar in part due to the care and attention from the whole SSS team!
