    A whole lot of folks detour through Hillman City since the very careful proprietors of this refurbished gas station began peddling their Peruvian charcoal-roasted rotisserie chicken. Choose quarters, halves, or wholes-dark or light meat (some nights juicier than others, alas)-then fill out your plate with your choice of insanely terrific sides: Lime-glazed sweet potatoes, a crunchy kale slaw, and a carb loader's dream of cheesy potatoes are among the best.

This Week in Restaurant News: Bye Bye Benito’s, Hello Barbecue Buildouts

This week the Central District joint expanded with a new food truck location in Georgetown. The Wood Shop truck will be parked at 5824 Airport Way and handing out those St. Louis spare ribs Monday through Thursday 11-3 and weekends 11-9.

Jack Timmons of his eponymous joint, Jack's BBQ, announced last week that he's bringing his Central Texas–style meats to South Lake Union this summer. Should all go according to plan, Jack's will have another restaurant at Ninth Avenue and Thomas come late July.

Charges: Man committed 6 robberies in 9 days

However, the suspect allegedly robbed the Georgetown Inn in the 6100 block of Corson Avenue South, several miles south of the surveillance operation. The Eastlake Market in the 2200 block of Eastlake Avenue East was then robbed about 45 minutes later, reportedly by the same person.

The robberies occurred between Feb. 17 and 25, mostly in the Lake City and Northgate areas until police caught on and Adame deviated to other neighborhoods, according to police reports.

However, the suspect allegedly robbed the Georgetown Inn in the 6100 block of Corson Avenue South, several miles south of the surveillance operation. The Eastlake Market in the 2200 block of Eastlake Avenue East was then robbed about 45 minutes later, reportedly by the same person.
