    The weather couldn't be more perfect for the annual Ballard SeafoodFest, which has completely taken over downtown Ballard. It's a loaded weekend for events in the neighborhood, with Viking Days also happening at the new Nordic Museum. The Nordic was busy on Saturday afternoon, with the Viking encampment out back and plenty of musical performances throughout the day.

The music mainstage is at Ballard Ave. and 22nd, and here’s the music lineup with headliners Blitzen Trapper and All Them Witches on Saturday evening.

It’s not opening until this fall due to permit delays, but the Skål Beer Hall at 5429 Ballard Ave. is holding a sneak peek during SeafoodFest. Doors will be open Saturday from 12-4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
